An Experience of Low level laser Therapy on Trigeminal Neuralgia

Abstract
|
|
|
There are several methods for the treatment of trigeminal neuralgia, but there is no method that results in complete remission.
The laser has lately come into use of reduce several acute or chronic pains.
Patients who suffered from tic douloureux were treated with Helium-Neon and Infrared beam simutaneously 2 or 3 times per week.
@ES The results were follows
@EN 1. Low level laser therapy(LLLT) was a non-invesive, simple method
2. There was no complication during or after irradiation of laser
3. Patients were completely free from pain attacks with LLLT
In conclusion, we confirmed that the above LLLT on pain were clinically very effective as a treatment of tic douloureux even though the follow-up period was short.
